In 1997, Jerry joined SYM. In 2002, Jerry became COO and was promoted to CEO a year later. Driven by SYM’s foundational belief that financial needs are served best by a private, employee-owned firm focused on its clients, employees and the communities it serves, Jerry led the senior management team to a successful buyout of the firm’s founding shareholders in 2006.

The aspect of his job he likes most is, first and foremost, helping people. He says, “I love helping clients organize and manage their financial affairs for maximum effectiveness.”

He thrives on team building, problem solving and mentoring. Jerry has an innate drive to always be managing for continuous improvement.

Jerry prioritizes spending time with his wife, Michelle, and three boys. He is an avid and loyal sports fan. He shares this love with his family; together they follow their teams through thick and thin.
